Rustica Cafe Wine Bar Kitchen

Although the service was great, the food was not. We ordered the Caesar salad, shrimp scampi and a flatbread. The salad was the best out of the three. The shrimp in the scampi was overcooked and rubbery. And the flatbread was underwhelming.

Ok first things first, this is a small business, so if you want fast food, and low prices go to McDonald's. The food, drinks and water came to us in a good amount of time. I would say we waiting not even 3 minutes for water, ordered our food and good good quality food in about 10 or 15 minutes. The food was wonderful. But if you like boring and no robust food again go to McDonald's. This uses flavors throughout its menu. Again not cheap it is a great date night once a month for dinner and good for lunches.

Food was delicious, cocktails tasty but as they are "crafted" took some time to get to the table.

A great restaurant and wine bar on Pioneer in the main downtown area. Great selection of local wines and spirits and food made from scratch.The menu is small, but well put together with a good selection of goods and flavors prepared fresh. Their jazz brunch is an excellent way to spend a Sunday morning in Oak Harbor and features a must have quiche of the day.

Great staff and a start to a good menu. Just needs some more customer support so it can support the effort. Best date night resteraunt in Oak Harbor.

Really great happy hour and fairly decent gluten free options. Some of the best mussels I've had in a while!

Delicious food. The wife had the quiche and side Caesar salad. I had the hot Italian withe a side of tomatoe bisque. All the food was freshly made. The wait staff was attentive and always had a smile.

First time here. Husband and i noticed right away how pricey the food choices were. However, this place is locally sourced for most of its items, wines, beers, veggies, etc. house-made bread. Organic veggies. Its going to be a little pricey because of the quality. On the other hand, i ordered the rustica french toast. It looked presentable, however it was overwhelmingly sweet for me. I thought it was more of a breakfast item, but it turned out to be very dessert-like. The berries turned out to be a rich jelly/jam. It come with sugar-coated walnuts, sprayed whipped cream and maple syrup on the side. Its great if you have a strong desire for something sweet, but i wasnt expecting it to be that way being on their brunch menu. Im willing to give this place another shot with something different.

Made a quick stop in for a drink, and loved it! It wasnt very busy. This place would make a nice date spot.

Great atmosphere. Friendly service. Half the table wanted fish beurre blanc but they were out. The shrimp scampi and lasagna was delicious. The tiramisu came from the bakery across the street --Chances for Dessert. It was one of the best tiramisu I've had in a long time, however the presentation was sloppy. Everything tasted amazing.

Cucumber and lemon water in a unique bottle was cool. The menu is simple yet Devine. The rustica salad was a blast, never had a rustica ball of cheese. Cheesception if you will. Try the wines too.
